The club is a very family orientated club and encourages members of all ages to participate in riding and volunteering not only at club musters but also at events.

The formal club uniform must be worn when competing at official pony club events.

The uniform consists of:

Long sleeve collared white cotton shirt

Black Jodphurs,

Purple vest and

Purple tie

The vest and tie are available for purchase at the canteen during club days or a committee member can be contacted the help arrange a uniform.
The club saddlecloth is also required for events and they are also purchased through Sandale Saddlery.
Mooloolah Pony Club Polo shirts can be purchased and worn at musters but are not mandatory.

The Club promotes the sun safety policy which means that all riders must wear a collared shirt at musters and they must have sleeves. No singlets or tank tops.

Members are also reminded to ensure that all gear is PCAQ approved and in a safe and working manner.

Use of Grounds

The grounds of Mooloolah Pony Club can be used by any financial member of the Mooloolah Pony Club.

Members are issued a code for the key box for the front gate once membership is paid.  Bookings are not required for the arena, but we do ask if there are members having a lesson with an instructor to please show consideration, though the arena is big enough for all to share.

We also ask you to please clean up after your horse and remove any manure from the arena, round yard or hosing bays.  Please also do not leave any rubbish on the grounds and place in the bins supplied or take it home with you.

Important Note To Instructors That Are Not Mooloolah Pony Club Members;

Instructors of other Pony Clubs are more than welcome to come and instruct on our grounds with our members provided you advise the committee that you are doing so.

For Instructors offering lessons who do not hold PCAQ or NCAS accredited certificates, you must apply to the Mooloolah Pony Club Committee and provide the correct Insurance Paperwork before you begin your lessons.

Please note that when using the round yeard to lounge, gloves, riding boots and PCAQ approved helmets must be worn.
